Yep, I bought these because they are Lake Placid Blue, like my Toronado. But, they're also heavyweight picks, which is the stiffness I like. I ended up liking them a lot. They have a nice feel, they're plenty stiff, durable, and the price wasn't bad. I'm definitely going to buy these again.Great pics as advertisedNobody else uses these, so its easy to tell when someone has yoinked one of mine. Easy to find in a floor filled with black gear. They also have these in pink. Don't buy those unless you're a girl. Your bandmates won't say anything, but they'll think it.Nah, they'll probably say something.Absolutely the best all-around pick I have ever used. I am referring to the solid red pick only. I learned to play guitar in 1969, and I have used literally hundreds of picks. I have even used mandolin picks for fast jazz, but this is THE go-to pick for rock and rhythm guitar. It has a rough texture that adds to grippability and even adds a funky edge to certain lead passages if you hold it right. I'm going to order several dozen.I bought the mediums and I really like the sound they produce on my electric (using 9's or 10's). I read the comments saying how they broke but I bought them anyhow because I liked the colors and style. I have always had good results with Fender picks (and other products). The picks did grind down a bit but they did not actually break. I just kept changing sides as it wore down. I think that "softness" is a large part of the nice sound. I was strummning a little enthusiastically just to see if I could break one but it did not happen. So, given the sound, the feeling of the pick, and the performance, I would buy them again; try another color. Oh, btw, the palm tree logo did not wear off at all while I used a pick.Good picks, moderate strength in material and a little pricey . Have since switched to stiffer & durable Dunlop picks .I keep loosing picks and now, I no longer have to worry about it. I bought the mediums.Pros:There's 12! (I counted, all of them are there)I like the colorI have a Fender guitar, so it matches in name if not color.Cons:They all seem to be scratched up like some one dropped them or something. You only really notice it if you're looking for flaws (which I was).Summary:It's perfect for the purpose I brought it for. I don't have to worry about loosing any. They all say the same thing, so you wont get attached to one with a specific symbol. And the price was awesome.I use these for a mandolin and wish they were wider. They are heavy picks, but I intend to go back to a wider pick. They do what they are supposed to do though. They come flying out of my hands a lot more than the wider picks because on a mandolin, you typically intentionally hold the pick much looser.Guitar picks are a very personal thing. The exact amount of flection and resistance, and the ease of use in getting the sound required, depend on so many things. The player, the type of guitar, music played, and the make and guage of the strings are all variables. These picks suit Wolfie and are big enough to keep hold of when cross-picking fast, and they also wear well. They look nice and work well enough, although they are a bit too thin for my taste. The Fender logo wears off quite quickly.Use the product for guitar it would nice if they got thumb grips onvery good for my fender guitar works very well and i have a few to be getting on with will buy again from you as and whenHusband likes the quality of these picks. Delivery is good.
