Don't want to tell my life story as guitar aficionado here - only so much: had a major collection of the Traveler brand guitars - I just love the concept - which by now I have streamlined to the headless acoustics with and without body, had an expensive Steinberger with 2 humbuckers and a piezo pickup and always had and still have a nice collection of other 'normal' electric and acoustic guitars. Re the Spade: 1) I have no regular guitar - Fender/ PRS/ Yamaha/ Gibson/ etc. - which has a smoother and more extremely playable neck 2) the sound of the pickups again is wonderfully smooth and clear - no noise is transmitted at all - the expressions 'creamy/ soothing/beautifully balanced' come to mind - you can always equalize harshness into your tone but never pleasant harmonies if they are not there. Add the finishing perfection - this is a quality instrument which comes with a hard case. I have become an instant fan. And if I break my resolution not to buy any additional guitars I would definitely look at other models from this brand - maybe after my next big sell-off from my collection . . .
