I had to drill new holes to fit my Squier Strat but it fit nice and snug. A few of the fret ends needed some smoothing but the frets are exellent. Real rosewood finger board, real bone nut and I didn't even have to touch the intonation. An improvement in tone and sustain. It adds more mid range. I'm a lefty so it's a reverse head stock. Looks and plays great! I'd buy one again if I needed one. A great replacement neck.07-14 24I would now give it 3 stars for these reasons: Poor fit into neck socket, Had to do a fret job repair because of 4 or 5 high spots, Tuners are too close together, and most important, I doubt it is maple. It added .75lbs.to my Strat. Too heavy and doesn't sound like a Strat. Lowered high sound and big mid's. Great sound if you lean toward humbuckers and overdrive. I'll stick with a maple neck with a rosewood board. It is a good quality neck but not for me.
